Childrens Playground

The Trustees and Management are happy to announce, that by October 2023 half-term, we should have our new playground fitted and ready for play. Construction is due to start on 9 October 2023.

We have tried to keep it in-keeping with the Sanctuary by having the multi-play made from pressure treated timber, the swing frame also being timber.

We have three timber donkeys, especially for climbing on.

It will all be on EN1177 compliant grassmatt pads to reduce grass erosion and offer certified Critical Fall Height protection.

The picture is an impression of what it may look like, by the designers at Caloo, who are the company doing the installation.

We at the Sanctuary are very excited about the playground, and hope that it will be very well used, as we know that little ones always want to play, so when they have seen the real donkeys, they can play on the wooden ones.
