Plenty of rescued donkeys to see, a small play area for the kids, duck pond, ice cream. And it's free!!Great!!

Was very disappointed after driving there for over an hour , we couldn't find anywhere to park , so.couldnt go snd see the donkeys ,was so looking forward to stroking the domkeys after finding this sanctuary nearer home so wasn't good 🥲🥲

A lovely place to go see rescued donkeys in a natural environment and not harnessed on a beach being made to give children rides.Free to enter, if you do go take a bag or 2 of carrots or apples, this is a charity organisation and run solely on donations and what they can sell in their gift shop.Lovely play park for kids, facilities are nice and clean.

It's lovely here. My kids love it. The people that work here are very nice too. The shop is decent priced with some cute donkey souvenirs. Cafe is nice and cheap too, £2 a coffee.

Everyone at the donkey sanctuary works very hard to give the donkeys a better life. A lovely place where you find stress disappearing when you stroke the donks. Nearly every Saturday they have something on, from craft fares to tabletop sales. Well worth a visit and it's free entry, just pay a donation that goes to the donkeys.

The donkeys are charming and one or two very friendly, following visitors around from within the compounds or fields they are in. The staff clearly take great care over them and the donkeys look very well cared for. Lucas is a bit of a character and seems to know he is popular with the visitors. No charge is made to visit and folk should give a gift aided donation to help them cover the costs.

A wonderful calm place where you can share time with these wonderful animals. You can grab a hot drink and a snack at reception and then you are free to wander and enjoy. The staff and volunteers are a lovely team of welcoming people. Best visited on a dry day. A great place for children and anyone who needs a tranquil moment that's good for the soul.

Parked and this grumpy old man (manager we assume) told us to move and he was really rude and unkind. The donkeys looked really depressed to me. Two had injuries too. I struggle with mental health and this has made it worse today. I wanted a peaceful, mindful hour here but instead got a grumpy old git manager and depressed donkeys. On my other visits it was really good but this experience has put me off coming again sadly.

If you haven’t been before you just have to go! Adults and kids love it!

Excellent for a visit and see the care these donkeys receive.

Visited here last week, the staff were all very friendly and full of knowledge! They knew all the donkeys names and their history which was interesting. We had a lovely coffee from the little tea room and a look around the small gift shop where you can also sponsor a donkey.

A great place to visit. A huge array of donkeys are at the sanctuary and can be seen close up for a scratch!

Wife has always wanted to own a donkey but we have never been in a position to do so. So the next best thing, visit a donkey sanctuary and Island Farm is our nearest so visit we did. Hundreds of donkeys to see and a charity shop to where you can donate items as well as a charity box where you can donate cash for the sanctuary. A very pleasant couple of hours spent.

Absolutely amazing place. Free admission. Open 364 days of the year. Loads of parking, also free. We were fortunate to arrive shortly before the male donkeys were walked out from their enclosure and out into an adjacent field. The female donkeys were already in their part of the field. They are the loveliest people, the donkeys, and so happy. They're clearly well looked after. Well fed. Some were rolling around on the grass. Quite a few walked across for a pat. It was nice to get up close to these wonderful animals. The donkey sanctuary is very pleasantly situated in the Oxfordshire countryside. We adopted a couple of donkeys, Lady and Brewster. They have a selection you can choose from on the wall directly across from the gift shop, and there's an accompanying short bio underneath. I befriended a great donkey while visiting them in the field, and although he wasn't on the official donkeys for adoption list, I got to adopt him as well. Tim (Shop Manager) kindly sent me a photo of him, which I've added here. His name is Paul. There's a gift shop with loads of great items and a place to get tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. There's an outdoor seating area. The little tubs of ice cream are very tasty. We met some very nice people, from Hayling Island and Southampton, respectively, and we had a good old chat. They were very friendly. It's nice to meet fellow animal lovers. There are toilets, as well as a massive hall filled with bric-a-brac for sale. Loads of pictures, books, DVDs, and CDs. Really nice people work here, and they clearly enjoy it. It's one of the best places I've ever been to. I can't wait to return. Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary comes highly recommended.

Great place, people, and obviously Donkeys. There look really well looked after. Such an awesome place. Well worth a visit. All the facilities are good and clean.

Such a great place to unwindy and meet some new furry friends. 100s of donkeys and some goats too. They all look as they feel safe and comfortable there with plenty of green grass and even named satlls. Will be coming back to destress and support. Thank you!

Lit was very hot ,but nice to see donkeys

Loads of donkeys! Wonderful setting and you can see tge donkeys are living their best lives now they're here and well cared for. Very reasonably priced gift shop and adoption scheme which is also available on their website. Conveniently placed toilets, refreshments available and entrance is free. Yes free. If you love donkeys or just animals in general then why not treat yourself to a visit? Or better yet adopt a donkey!

Staff were lovely, loads of donkeys about and most of them very friendly. Not suitable for a toddler who doesn't like loud noises but we didn't realise this until he was there. Gift shop is very well priced, I didn't see anything over £15

Lovely place, clean, tidy and a lot of donkeys !! Easy parking friendly people.

We had a lovely afternoon here. There is a small gift shop and play area for children. There are also toilets. So many donkeys to see it was wonderful. You can see they’re really investing in the place with lots of new structures and stables being built. There also an information centre although was closed when we went. It’s free to go in and run by volunteers. I was really taken by some of the donkeys - I will have to go back to see them again soon.

A lovely, sweet, small, friendly place, which is also free entry. Quite quirky with a bric a brac barn, play park, and great little gift shop. Cafe was closed though. Probably only a few hours (not a whole day out), maybe not suitable for wheelchairs. Obviously a great charity helping donkeys. Would definitely go again.
