Make A Donation

Your donation, no matter what size, will enable us to continue our work caring for the 120+ donkeys in our care.

Become A Volunteer

Volunteering can be very rewarding giving you a real sense of purpose, getting you out of the house and meeting new people, not to mention, you get to work with our fabulous donkeys and other volunteers!

Adopt a Donkey

Adopting a donkey is a lovely way to support the work of the Island Farm Donkey Sanctuary. Either for yourself or a gift for someone else.

Be A Foster Hero

If you love donkeys and have the right environment to look after them, then you may be able to foster a Donkey.

Make A Gift

A gift in a will. Leaving a legacy would make a significant difference to us. We would appreciate your consideration.

Feed a Donkey

You can donate £5 for hay, or £10 for donkey feed. You can also bring to the Sanctuary, carrots and apples which are always gratefully received.

Memorial Wall Plaque

We have a memorial wall. These are names of people who have loved the donkeys in their life and their families wish to remember them in their death with a plaque at the Sanctuary.

Visit Us

We are set in 22 acres of Oxfordshire countryside and is a wonderful place to visit at any time of the year. It’s a very relaxed, quiet and peaceful place.

Attend Our Events

We have various events throughout the year, and the staff, volunteers and donkeys would love to see you there.

We have lots of lovely donkey-related gifts in the gift shop. Or you can buy online.
